Exeter have targeted Joe Gallen as a possible candidate to become assistant manager at the club. Gallen, 34, is currently working with the Grecians on a trial basis as he looks to complete his exit from QPR.
The former Watford frontman had been in charge of the youth team at Loftus Road but was told by boss John Gregory in June he was no longer needed.
Exeter boss Paul Tisdale has been without an assistant following Paul Buckle's departure to Torquay.
