Exeter have handed former City defender Jon Richardson, ex-Stevanage striker Jefferson Louis and centre-back Patrick Ada week-long trials. Richardson, who spent six years at St James's Park after graduating through the youth ranks, made more than 250 appearances for the Grecians.
Louis, 27, has played for Oxford United, Woking, Gravesend, Forest Green Rovers and Bristol Rovers.
Ada, 21, helped lead St Albans to promotion to the Conference last term.
