Pienaar wants to be totally focused on the World Cup
Steven Pienaar says he will decide his Everton future after the World Cup following speculation linking him with Chelsea, Manchester United and Spurs.
The South African midfielder, 28, has starred for the Toffees this season, scoring seven goals in 37 games.
"I've made it clear before that I want to stay at Everton," said the former Borussia Dortmund player.
"We will just have to wait and I made it clear to the manager also that we will talk after the World Cup."
Pienaar, who is in discussions with Everton about a new contract, added: "The rumours have been going on for a while, but it's just stuff in the newspapers.
"To be honest, it is a bit distracting because I'm still an Everton player at the end of the day. I want to be more like a normal human being, walk about in town and I don't want people to shout stuff at me like 'you have to stay, you don't have to do this'.
"It's just a lot of rumours, but it is also flattering at the same time because it is big clubs."
When asked if he believes he will be at Everton next season, Pienaar said: "You have to ask God that. If God wants me to come back after the World Cup healthy and happy then I'll be here.
"I want to go to the World Cup with my mind fresh and because it's going to be another task for me. It's my country I'm representing."
