Moyes was unhappy with the performance of Clattenburg |
David Moyes has denied a Football Association charge of improper conduct. The Everton manager was charged following comments about referee Mark Clattenburg following his side's 2-1 home defeat to Liverpool in October.
Everton had two players sent off in the game and were denied a late penalty after Joleon Lescott appeared to be brought down by Jamie Carragher.
Moyes has requested a personal hearing and the charges relate his comments after the game and a week later.
"It is alleged that the comments made referring to referee Mark Clattenburg on each respective occasion amount to improper conduct as they call into question Mr Clattenburg's integrity and/or imply that Mr Clattenburg was motivated by bias," said the FA at the time.
