Everton are traditionally one of the cheaper sides to watch in the Premiership |
Everton are the latest club to react to criticism over prices by offering season ticket holders a 10% reduction if they buy early for next season. Even if fans fail to renew their tickets in the April 1-April 28 window, Goodison Park supporters will see prices frozen at the 2006-07 levels.
Chief Executive Keith Wyness said: "We are all mindful of the recent media attention on ticket prices.
"We were determined to offer genuinely competitive pricing for next season."
Currently, the most expensive Goodison season ticket is 574, and the lowest a 238 family enclosure ticket, but the latter will now fall to 190 a season for youngsters.
Wyness added: "While it is critical to ensure the ticket pricing offer is the right one in order to support the aims and objectives of the team manager, it is vital that coming to Goodison Park remains affordable
"We believe our 2007-08 prices demonstrate our ambition on both fronts."
