Ruddy has played 28 games for Cambridge |
Cambridge United's teenage goalkeeper John Ruddy has agreed personal terms with Everton and will move in May. The 18-year-old has agreed a four-year contract - the fee remains undisclosed but the deal includes a first-team game between the sides at the Abbey Stadium.
Chairman Roger Hunt told the U's website: "I'm delighted for him.
"He will have the chance to work with Chris Woods and their goalkeepers two days a week which can only help him and us for the rest of the season."
