Veteran Dunfermline defender Scott Thomson is discounting thoughts of retiring and hopes to win a new contract at East End Park.
"I will talk to the manager and see what he wants to do," the 37-year-old said after the 2-0 Scottish Cup semi-final defeat by Falkirk.
"But I think I can still handle it and think my legs can still cope.
"I have talked with retired players like Stewart Petrie, and they tell me to keep playing as long as I can."
Thomson, who joined the Pars from Raith Rovers in 1998, had his testimonial against Manchester United two years ago.
