McManus has extended his stay at East End Park |
Tam McManus has signed a two-year deal with Dunfermline Athletic. The 26-year-old former Hibernian, Dundee and Falkirk striker moved to East End Park in February and netted twice in seven appearances.
Dunfermline director of football Jim Leishman said: "He showed at the end of last season what an important player he is for us.
"We're still holding contract talks with a number of other players, including Gary Mason."
Leishman was hoping to resolve those issues later in the week.
McManus is now aiming to help take the Fife club back into the Scottish Premier League after they were relegated last month.
He has opted to stay at East End Park despite interest from SPL clubs, including Inverness Caley Thistle.
