Harper in action for Walsall last season |
Dunfermline have signed former Scotland Under-21 international Kevin Harper after the winger was released by Stoke. The 31-year-old had loan spells with Carlisle and Walsall last season and opted for a return to Scotland ahead of offers from English clubs.
Harper began his professional career at Hibernian before moving to Derby County and later Portsmouth, where he played more than 100 games.
He hit four goals in 10 games for Walsall in 2006/07.
The Scot was linked with a permanent move to the Saddlers but has opted instead to join Stephen Kenny's Pars, who were relegated to the Scottish First Division last season.
