Dunfermline manager Jim Leishman paid tribute to his players for gaining a point against Rangers in spite of the East End Park club's long injury list. Leishman revealed: "Genuinely we had 13 players to pick from but we worked hard and earned a great result.
"Whether we deserved it or not, we could have nicked it in the end too.
"The players did really well. They did everything I asked and I felt that the concentration, particularly in midfield and defence, was terrific."
