Dundee United have told strikers Francisco Sandaza, Danny Cadamarteri and Jennison Myrie-Williams they can leave the club.

The trio stared a combined total of just 30 games last season.

Strikers Jon Daly and David Goodwillie, Andis Shala, Johnny Russell and Damian Casalinuovo are all vying for places.

United manager Peter Houston lost defenders Andy Webster and Lee Wilkie in the summer and needs sales to fund his rebuilding plans.

Houston is keen to sell the trio in order to bolster his squad for the current Scottish Premier League campaign.

Sandaza moved to United in July 2008 after leaving Valencia CF Mestalla and is spending a week's trial with Swansea City.

Cadamarteri arrived at Tannadice in May last year after rejecting a new deal at Huddersfield Town.

And former England U-18 international Myrie-Williams joined United from Championship side Bristol City last summer.
