Dundee United defender Lee Wilkie expects to go under the knife again in an effort to resolve his long-term knee injury problems.
The 29-year-old has undergone a series of career-saving operations because of cruciate ligament damage.
Wilkie had an operation in the summer but was sidelined for last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Hamilton Accies.
He joined United from rivals Dundee in 2006 and has become an important first-team regular at Tannadice.
