Argentine striker Damian Casalinuovo has signed a two-year deal with Dundee United after impressing on trial.
The 22-year-old scored twice in United's recent friendly victories over Arbroath and UCD in Dublin.
Casalinuovo was last season with Platense in his homeland, having previously been with Valez Sarsfield.
United manager Craig Levein was keen to add to his squad after injured strikers Francisco Sandaza and Jon Daly were ruled out until September.
