Deco was yellow carded for kicking the ball away in frustration |
Barcelona midfielder Deco has said he enjoyed the pre-season friendly test against Dundee United at Tannadice. The Portuguese international was fielded in the second-half, but picked up a yellow card for dissent.
The Catalan side will line up against Hearts at Murrayfield on Saturday, and Deco is anticipating a tough encounter.
He said: "I'm really looking forward to the game against Hearts, because these are the games that will help us get ready for next season."
A last-minute penalty from Thierry Henry gave the visitors a narrow 1-0 win, after Darren Dods pulled down Giovani inside the penalty area.
United keeper Grzegorz Szamotulski saved the resulting spot-kick, but the former Arsenal striker followed up and opened his account with the Spanish giants.
United midfielder Barry Robson had an 82nd-minute header rulled out for a push on Eric Abidal.
Deco added: "Dundee United are very strong team, and this is going to be very good season for them.
"They worked hard as a team and were very good physically in front of their own fans."
