Dundee United want Old Firm trio
Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall
Marshall has been on the bench for much of the season
Dundee United have targeted Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall and Rangers pair Allan McGregor and Bob Malcolm, BBC Sport understands.

But United player-manager Craig Brewster could face competition from Sheffield Wednesday as he attempts to lure Marshall to Tannadice on loan.

Defender Malcolm spent most of this season on the bench at Ibrox.

Goalkeeper McGregor was on loan to Dunfermline Athletic this season and his Rangers future is uncertain.

Brewster is seeking competition for Derek Stillie, having allowed Craig Samson to leave Tannadice.
