Dundee to remain full-time club

Dundee chairman Bob Brannan
Brannan insists it is business as usual for next season

Dundee say they will continue to operate on a full-time basis next season despite missing out on promotion to the Scottish Premier League.

The Dens Park club lost out to Hamilton Accies, but chairman Bob Brannan insists failure to go up will not have an impact on the park for next term.

"We can't say we have no financial problems, but we can run with a similar budget to this season," he said.

"We'll be full time and we hope to make a challenge for promotion again,"

Brannan added that he was sure manager Alex Rae would be staying at Dens Park to take the team forward.

The Dark Blues' chairman also said the club were hopeful of retaining Hibernian's on-loan striker Mickael Antoine-Curier.

"We have made him a very healthy offer and we hope to keep him," said Brannan.
