McDonald does not rule out a move in the future |
Teenage prospect Kevin McDonald wants to stay with Dundee rather than win a transfer to Scottish champions Celtic. The hard-up First Division club have rejected a 75,000 offer for the 17-year-old midfielder.
"It's very flattering for me that Celtic are interested," McDonald told the Sun newspaper.
"But, at my age, I think I should be staying with Dundee and hopefully I will be getting more good experience.
Maybe in the future I can move on."
McDonald has also been linked with Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur.
"I've spoken to my agent and he's also told me to stay with Dundee just now and we'll see what happens after that," he added.
