 Winter moved to Dumbarton at the start of the year |
Dumbarton have turned down a bid from Third Division rivals East Fife for midfielder Craig Winter. Sons manager Gerry McCabe told the club website: "Craig is happy playing here and we have notified East Fife that their offer has been rejected.
Winter, who enjoy almost 10 years at Cowdenbeath before leaving in 2004, moved to Dumbarton from Brechin City on a two-year deal last January.
The 30-year-old has scored four goals in 15 appearances this season.
East Fife are top of the Third Division table, ten points better off than fourth-placed Dumbarton.
