Doncaster Rovers are waiting to hear the full extent of James Coppinger's Achilles injury.
The midfielder was stretchered off during the 1-0 defeat against Reading after a challenge from Dave Kitson.
Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We'll have to wait and see but the prognosis is not looking too good.
"He's on crutches at the minute, he's got a nasty bang on the Achilles and he felt something."
