O'Driscoll left Bournemouth for Doncaster last September |
Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll was left to rue some poor defending after they lost 2-0 at his old club Bournemouth. "It was a tight game, but I thought we were in control until the first goal, when we didn't defend from a throw-in which is one of my pet hates," he said.
"Then, the kick-off at the start of the second half was a joke and we gave a stupid goal away.
"The difference between success and failure in this league is minute, but goals change games."
Meanwhile, O'Driscoll is resigned to losing top scorer Paul Heffernan for at least six weeks.
The 20-goal striker was injured in the recent 1-0 win against Port Vale, and O'Driscoll said: "He's had a scan, and I'd think it will be at least six weeks as he's ruptured his ankle ligaments.
"For the foreseeable future, he's not going to be available, which is a shame for him as he's going to miss the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at Cardiff when he'd been partly responsible for getting us there."
