Price hit the winner for Rovers in the 89th minute of the second leg |
Jason Price was thrilled after his goal helped Doncaster beat Crewe to reach the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final. "At 2-0 down (5-3 on aggregate), I looked at Paul Heffernan and knew we could come back," the 29-year-old utility man told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"When Heff scored the first, it was unbelievable, when he got the second we thought we were going to win it.
"At the end, I shanked my first effort, and then shanked the second one, but it went in."
The final will take place at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Sunday, 1 April.
Rovers will meet the winner of the southern final, which is between local rivals Bristol City and Bristol Rovers.
