Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll has signed former Blackpool and Manchester United midfielder Richie Wellens on a two-year deal from Oldham. The 27-year old made 44 appearances for the Latics in the league last season and scored four goals.
"It feels good. I've come to a club that is on the up - an ambitious club," Wellens told the club website.
"There were a couple of Championship clubs interested, but things changed and it seemed right to come here."
