Doncaster have added teenage keeper Ben Smith to their squad on non-contract terms until the end of August. The 19-year-old former Newcastle trainee ended last season at Stockport, following his release by the Magpies.
Smith will act as cover for Alan Blayney, and was on the bench for Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Carlisle.
Boss Dave Penney needed cover after losing both Andy Warrington and Jan Budtz to injury, while youth keeper Lee Cockerham was also a doubt.
