Doncaster chairman John Ryan says he has not had an approach from Ipswich for Rovers manager Dave Penney. Ryan told BBC Radio Sheffield: "There hasn't been an approach but there's been a lot of speculation about Dave's future but I'm confident he'll stay.
"He can see the progress we're making, he's got a great squad and I've given him enormous backing.
"And although this may sound ridiculous to some people, we are potentially a bigger club than Ipswich Town."
