Doncaster boss Dave Penney has ruled himself out of the running to be the next manager of Derby County. Penney, 40, who spent four years at Derby in the late 1980s, says he wants to continue his work at Rovers.
"As I'm a young manager and because of my time as a player at Derby, people have made the connection," Penney told the Derby Evening Telegraph.
"I've got three years left on my contract here and as far as I'm concerned the job is only half done."
