Barker joined the Rams from Blackpool in the summer

Derby County centre-half Shaun Barker has suffered another injury setback and is likely to miss the next two matches.

Barker has been plagued by a thigh problem since joining the Rams in the summer and has only started a total of 12 games so far this season.

He has been playing with the injury but it got worse at the end of last week and he missed Saturday's 2-2 draw against high-flying West Brom.

Barker is almost certain to miss the games against Preston and Watford.

But he may be in line to return for the pre-Christmas match against Doncaster on Saturday, 19 December.
