Clough is still hoping to sign Crewe defender John Brayford
Derby County are still looking to add to their squad before the new season, according to manager Nigel Clough.
Clough has already brought five new faces to Pride Park this summer and says ideally he wants at least one more before the campaign kicks off.
We're waiting on a decision on two loan players coming in," Clough told BBC Radio Derby.
"They're two younger players on long term loans, so we'd hope to get at least one of those."
Clough has been also pursuing Crewe Alexandra defender John Brayford for a number of weeks, but admits that deal will probably be reliant on Derby getting rid of some players first.
"We're still waiting on a couple of departures which may trigger us," Clough added, but confirmed that there had been no progress yet in their attempts to secure Brayford's signature.
Lee Croft, Dean Moxey, Jake Buxton, Ben Pringle and Shaun Barker have already joined Derby this summer.
