Jewell has yet to see his side win in the Premier League

Derby boss Paul Jewell says planning for the future is his main motivation while his side's struggles continue.

The Rams boss described Saturday's 6-0 home defeat by Aston Villa as "hugely embarrassing" but he is adamant his relegated side can bounce back.

He told BBC Radio Derby: "There's a lot going on off the pitch towards building for next year in the Championship.

"Players will be moved out and the players we want to bring in will make us a decent team next year."
