Derby County boss Paul Jewell insists striker Kenny Miller will not be leaving on the cheap if the club are relegated at the end of the season. The Scotland international has been linked with a 1.5m move in the summer.
But while Jewell admits Miller may be sold he told BBC Radio Derby the price has to be right: "We paid nearly 2.25m for Kenny.
"I'd like to keep Kenny but I understand if he doesn't want to play in the Championship."
And Jewell, whose side have just 10 league games left and are 15 points from safety, added: "To be fair I don't want to manage in the Championship but that's where we are going to be.
"We all want to get back to the Premier League as quickly as possible."
