Derby County manager Paul Jewell insists he is intent on staying at Pride Park for the long haul. "If I thought if Derby go down we'd be a mid-table Championship or just be happy to bumble along I wouldn't be here," he told BBC Radio Derby.
"I had other offers and I've had an offer while I've been manager of Derby.
"But I see the future of Derby as being really exciting - something that is going to get my appetite whetted and I can't wait for next season."
