The defender will move for an initial fee of �600,000 and has signed a three-and-a-half year deal after agreeing personal terms.

McEveley has made 26 appearances for Blackburn since making his debut at the age of 17.

He has also had loan spells at Burnley, Gillingham and Ipswich and has represented England at under-21 level.
