But he has hit out at the club's former owners after BBC Radio Derby revealed to him his name was on a list of players the club were looking to sell.

He said: "I'm surprised because it's the first time I've heard officially my name was touted around. I don't want to be sold, I want to play for Derby.

"The former owners who wanted to sell me aren't here now and I'm glad because they were pretty useless."
