A consortium led by Peter Gadsby has taken control of Derby County, reports BBC Radio Derby. A deal was completed in the early hours of Saturday morning for the transfer of ownership of the club from Jeremy Keith and Steve Harding to the group.
Former Rams vice-chairman Gadsby will be the new chairman of the Championship club with the rest of the board to be unveiled at 1100 BST on Saturday.
John Sleightholme resigned as chairman earlier this month.
The new owners have taken back the ownership of the Rams' Pride Park stadium from the Panama-based ABC Corporation, which was used to finance the last takeover in October 2003.
