Derby manager George Burley wants new signing midfielder Morten Bisgaard to fulfil a creative and goalscoring role at Pride Park next season. The 29-year-old joined the Rams on a free transfer from FC Copenhagen.
Burley said: "Morten's not a defensive midfielder, he's someone who likes to get forward.
"He can play anywhere in midfield but his strength is in creating and scoring goals, especially after providing good-quality crosses."
He added: "Leon Osman did magnificently well for us while he was on loan here last season and Morten is a similar player in terms of attacking the opposition and creating and scoring goals."
