Quakers' stadium worry has no impact on side - Cooper
Cooper's side currently lie 11th in Blue Square Bet Premier
Darlington boss Mark Cooper is adamant the off-field situation regarding the club's stadium will have no impact on the football played on the pitch.
The Quakers' holding company is in receivership, placing the ownership of the Arena stadium in doubt.
But Cooper told BBC Tees: "The chairman has spoken to me about it and told me to carry on with the good work we've been doing on the pitch.
"He'll keep me informed in what's going on off the pitch."
Cooper added: "I don't think it's one of those situations like with Kidderminster Harriers where there's a fear the players will not be paid, it's a battle over the ground.
"So we're going to concentrate on winning another game of football."
The Quakers currently lie nine points adrift of the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off places, but have four games in hand on fifth-placed Fleetwood.
Cooper and chairman Raj Singh were also active in recruiting players during the January transfer window, signing Marc Bridge-Wilkinson on a permanent basis from Carlisle United, as well as Greg Taylor from Kettering Town and Crawley Town defender Adam Quinn.
"The chairman has obviously spoken to them, and I don't think he would have told them what he has told them if there was a problem," Cooper continued.
"We've had a chat with the players and told them what is going on, but it's nothing that's going to affect them in terms of getting paid.
"They've just got to concentrate on doing what they've been doing which is getting results for the football club."
