Reynolds eyes success
George Reynolds
Reynolds wants to emulate Manchester United's success
Darlington chairman George Reynolds says he wants to model the club set-up on Manchester United.

"I'm a great admirer of what Alex Ferguson has achieved at Manchester United," said Reynolds.

"People wanted instant success, but he stuck to his guns and brought on young players. Look at them now. They're an example to every other club.

"When I took over here the aim was to go up the divisions in a new stadium. Coming so close last year spurs me on."

The Quakers missed out on promotion last season when they lost to Peterborough United in the Third Division play-of.
