Carlisle United striker Kevin Gall has joined League Two promotion challengers Darlington on a month's loan. The former Wales Under-21 international has been restricted to just 10 starts for the Cumbrians this season, the last coming in November.
United boss John Ward told his club's website: "Kevin wanted first-team football so we're happy to send him over there so that he gets that.
"We'll be able to look at the situation again when he gets back," Ward added.
Gall began his career at Newcastle United but was released in 2000 before making an appearance.
His breakthrough came in the West Country, first with Bristol Rovers and then Yeovil where he earned his international honours.
Since arriving at Brunton Park in 2006 Gall has made 65 appearances, scoring nine goals, but currently finds himself on the fringes of the squad.
