Southend United have agreed to extended Richie Foran's loan deal at Darlington for a second month. The 27-year-old striker's stint with the League Two club was set to expire after the Quakers' game against Chester on Saturday.
But Southend boss Steve Tilson has allowed Foran to prolong his stay at the Darlington Arena.
The former Motherwell player's new loan agreement with the League Two side expires on 15 January, 2008.
The Dubliner moved to Roots Hall from Motherwell for �200,000 in January but has not started a league game for the Shrimpers this season.
