Defender Brian Close has earned an extended stay with Darlington. Close, 24, has signed a contract until the end of the season after impressing Quakers boss Dave Penney since Penney's arrival at the end of October.
The former Middlesbrough player, who has been at Darlington since March 2004, previously had a deal running until the end of December.
Defender Joey Hutchinson is out of contract in January but has recently been sidelined by injury.
