Darlington have signed Port Vale midfielder Michael Cummins and Barnsley striker Barry Conlon. Cummins, 27, has been at Vale Park since March 2000 and has made over 250 appearances since he joined the club from Middlesbrough.
Conlon, 27, was at Darlington for three years but left the Quakers for Barnsley in July 2004.
Manager David Hodgson told the club website: "Michael is one of the most consistent players in League One."
