Dagenham & Redbridge striker Ben Strevens believes a play-off place should be well within their reach.
The Daggers currently sit 11th in League Two, but are just three points from seventh-placed Rochdale.
Strevens told BBC Essex: "We're getting better, but we've got to keep pushing on and try to get a few more victories.
"I think the play-offs should be the minimum aim for this team with the way we are playing at the moment and fingers crossed that's where we'll be."
The league's top scorers picked up a well deserved point away to promotion-chasing Bradford at the weekend.
They will look to make ground on those above them when they take on sixth-placed Exeter at Victoria Road on Saturday.
