Dagenham & Redbridge defender Anwar Uddin has signed a contract extension, reports BBC Essex. The former West Ham United trainee, 24, has put pen to paper on a deal which will keep him at Victoria Road until the summer of 2009.
Uddin joined the Daggers from Bristol Rovers in July 2004.
He also had a spell at Sheffield Wednesday without making a first-team appearance, and has served Hereford and Telford on loan.
Last summer, he signed a deal which tied him to Dagenham until 2008.
