Dagenham and Redbridge have signed midfielder Dave Rainford from Conference South side Bishop's Stortford on a two-year deal. Bishop's accepted an offer from the Daggers for their 26-year-old captain.
The former Colchester United player joined Bishop's in February 2003 and was the club's player-of-the-year in the 2004/05 season.
Meanwhile, Daggers boss John Still is holding talks with defender Ashley Vickers about extending his deal.
