Dagenham and Redbridge boss John Still is hoping to sign striker Cliff Akurang from Ryman League side Heybridge Swifts on a permanent basis.

"We have had talks with Heybridge," Still told his club's website.

"Those talks are ongoing and we'll have to see how we go because he's a player I would like to bring into this club."

Akurang, 24, has just completed a month on loan with the Daggers, scoring once in three games before being sidelined through injury.
