Crystal Palace striker Leon McKenzie is on the verge of completing a transfer to Division Two side Peterborough.

McKenzie who became a crowd favourite during two loan spells at London Road back in 1998-99 is to undergo a medical with Posh on Thursday.

McKenzie, 22, scored nine goals during 15 games for Peterborough during his first loan spell in 1998.

After picking up an injury he returned to Palace before coming back to Peterborugh for another loan.
