Crystal Palace administrator Guilfoyle hopeful of buyer
Crystal Palace administrator Brendan Guilfoyle hopes that the club will find a potential buyer as discussions with interested parties continue.
But he admitted: "Currently the situation is finely balanced as we come up to the deadline on Friday."
Guilfoyle pulled out of a Questions and Answers session with Palace fans, but insists that he will release any information as soon as he can.
Palace are currently battling to avoid relegation from the Championship.
They were deducted 10 points for entering administration in January. And they now sit three points from safety, with only one win in six games since Neil Warnock left for QPR, to be replaced as manager by Paul Hart.
A host of high-profile names have been linked with a takeover of the club including rapper P-Diddy, although Guilfoyle said last week that he had not been contacted by the American-based star.
