Championship side Crystal Palace have signed Sunderland striker Anthony Stokes for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old Irishman failed to score in a loan spell at Sheffield United this season and has only managed three league goals for Sunderland.
Palace have failed to score in their last three games and have slipped to 14th in the league table.
Stokes, who cost Sunderland �2m from Arsenal two years ago, could make his debut against Wolves on Tuesday.
The Republic of Ireland international made his name as a teenager during a loan spell at Falkirk in 2006, when he scored 16 goals in 18 games - including three hat-tricks.
