Warnock admits goalscoring worry

Warnock's Palace last scored in the 3-1 win at Plymouth in February

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock admits his side are facing goal-scoring problems after going three games without finding the net.

Palace have only scored in two league games since Boxing Day - and one of those was a 4-1 home defeat by Ipswich.

Their latest reverse, which leaves Palace in 14th place in the Championship table, was a 2-0 defeat by struggling Watford on Saturday.

Warnock told BBC London 94.9: "We could not score in a brothel at the moment."

Palace have only claimed four league goals in 2009, and three of those were against Plymouth Argyle.

The Eagles' injury list includes captain Shaun Derry, defender Claude Davis and forward Victor Moses, all out with hamstring strains.

How can the fans be expected to go to Burnley on a Wednesday night, to Swansea on a Saturday and Barnsley on a Tuesday? It's just ridiculous

Palace have to play seven games in the next 21 days, including away trips to Burnley, Swansea and Barnsley in the space of a week.

A furious Warnock said: "God knows how we're going to do that in six days. It's just ridiculous asking professional teams to travel that sort of distance.

"It's the three away trips that does my head in. There's nine days at the end of the season when we can play one, even two of the games.

"How can the fans be expected to go to Burnley on a Wednesday night, to Swansea on a Saturday and Barnsley on a Tuesday? It's just ridiculous."

Palace next play host to Championship leaders Wolves on Tuesday.
