Bullivan moves from a similar position at Brentford and has been brought in in a bid to fight off relegation from the First Division. Bullivant served Brentford as a player between 1983 and 1986, making over 50 appearances for the club, including the Freight Rover Trophy final in 1985. He then managed Barnet and Reading before returning to Griffin Park as part of the coaching staff in 1988.
