Sarcevic won Woodley Sports' Players' Player of the Year last season
Crewe midfielder Antoni Sarcevic says the chance to make his league debut at Stockport on Saturday would be a dream come true.
Sarcevic, 18, was recalled from a loan spell at Chester to provide cover for the suspended Lee Bell and he will be in the squad at Edgeley Park.
"It would mean everything to make a Football League debut, it's a dream," he told BBC Radio Stoke.
"If I came on, I don't have a clue what my dad would do in the stands."
Sarcevic rebuilt his career at non-league Woodley Sports after being released by Manchester City as a trainee.
He was given the opportunity to return to the professional game by Alex boss Dario Gradi during the summer and while he admits the step up has been a big one, Sarcevic would not want to be doing anything else.
"Every day you have your ups and downs in training but just to play football every day is perfect," he said.
"He (Gradi) has made me a far better player, I just take everything he says on board and learn from him.
"Hopefully if I get the call on Saturday I can show what I can do."
